Working with us….

We work with clients in Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex, within about 30 minutes drive from Guildford.

No 2 projects are the same so we take a different approach depending on your project, where you are based and the scale of the work required. To start off with, we need to discuss what you are looking for or hoping to achieve, so an appointment in the studio or chat over the phone is a good starting point.

For window treatments…

…for 1 or 2 windows, we’ll ask you to take some measurements and send some photos for an initial estimate.

…much bigger projects, a few rooms or a whole house, then we’ll meet you on site to take measurements and photographs.  You will then receive an initial estimate from us for your project.

For upholstery…

…. we’ll ask you to take some measurements and send some photos for an initial estimate.

Sourcing materials…

We will help specify everything needed for your project: fabric, trimming, tracks, pelmets, cushions and set out all the design details.

Over the years, Susie has invested in a fantastic selection of fabric sample books from the big fabric houses of Colefax & Fowler, Romo, GP & J Baker, Jane Churchill, Sanderson, and also the more niche fabric manufacturers like Lewis & Wood, Lisa Fine Textiles, James Hare, Ian Sanderson, Andrew Martin, Molly Mahon, Titley & Marr and Peony & Sage.

We also have access to a wide selection of beautiful trimmings, poles, cushions and lampshades.

So make use of the design team here, our knowledge and resources, and book an appointment in the studio for this part.  We’ll spend time presenting fabric ideas, and arrange samples for you to try at home.  You’ll see examples of our handsewn curtains and blinds in the studio for to see and feel for yourself.

Ready? Let’s go…

To place an order, we need all design details agreed and 50% payment in advance.

Our timeline is usually about 6 weeks from placing the order when we’ll let you know when everything is ready for fitting.

The installation phase of your curtains is as important to us as the curtain making. Therefore, our professional fitters have been carefully selected for their quality workmanship.
